Card Player Poker Tour: Bicycle $1 Million Guarantee Begins Sept. 26

Event 3 Features a $1 Million Guaranteed Prize Pool

It’s not every day players can opt into a tournament for $160 and make a run for their piece of a $1 million guarantee prize pool, but when event 3 at the Card Player Poker Tour Bicycle Casino kicks off Sept. 26, players can do just that.

Beginning every day at 12 pm and 5 pm from Sept. 26 through Oct. 6, players buy-in to the event for a mere $160. The final 10 percent of the field during each session will be given a small portion of the prize pool and the final five percent will advance to day 2. Day 2 will start Oct. 7 and the race to the winner will begin.

Using the Bicycle’s trademark Quantum Reload format, players can also chose to buy directly into day 2 for $5,300 and start with 40 big blinds.

Following event 3, the series will feature a $235 no-limit hold’em $20,000 guarantee and a $235 no-limit hold’em $25,000 guarantee. Players can then test their skills in Omaha eight-or-better and stud eight-or-better events before the $1,100 no-limit hold’em $500,000 estimated guarantee main event begins Oct. 11.

Just like event 3, the main event will also feature the Quantum Reload format where players will have the option to buy-in directly for $1,100 on any of the three starting days. Those who wish to skip day 1 altogether can buy directly into day 2 for $4,000.

Players that choose the latter option will begin with the average chip stack from the three starting days. Players who are eliminated on any day may also re-enter the following day.

The final two days of the main event will stream on Live at the Bike and the final table will also stream live on Card Player. The winner will be featured on the cover of Card Player magazine.

One of the largest poker rooms in the world with 175 poker tables and more than 100,000 square feet of floor space, the Bike is located about 10 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. The poker room is surrounded by HD televisions and guests are seated in comfortable chairs within a spacious, elegant, smoke-free atmosphere. Though the casino is without a hotel, there are a wide variety of accommodations available nearby.
