Card Player Poker Tour: Bicycle Casino Main Event Begins Saturday

The Main Event Will Feature The Bike’s Own Quantum Reload Concept

Thomas BecksteadAfter nearly three weeks of tournament action, the Card Player Poker Tour Bicycle Casino main event is set to begin. Likely to award one of the largest first place prize payouts of the Season, the $1,100 no-limit hold’em Quantum Reload main event will begin Oct. 11 and wrap up Oct. 15 with the crowning of a new CPPT champion.

Play will begin with three day 1s, where players have the option to buy-in for $1,100. Any player eliminated on a day 1 can buy-in again the following day 1 and, unique to the Bike’s patented structure, players who wish to skip day 1 altogether have the option of buying directly into day 2 for $4,000.

The final two days of the main event will stream on Live at the Bike and the final table will also stream live on Card Player. The winner will be featured on the cover of Card Player magazine.

The Fall stop will be the tour’s second stop at the Bike. In late May to early June of 2013 the casino hosted a 10-tournament series ending with a $1,100 no-limit hold’em $300,000 guarantee main event ultimately won by Thomas Beckstead. Beckstead earned just over $102,000 for his win.

One of the largest poker rooms in the world with 175 poker tables and more than 100,000 square feet of floor space, the Bike is located about 10 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. The poker room is surrounded by HD televisions and guests are seated in comfortable chairs within a spacious, elegant, smoke-free atmosphere. Though the casino is without a hotel, there are a wide variety of accommodations available nearby.
