When the final hand was dealt to mark the end of Season II of the Card Player Poker Tour, nine players had cashed out for six-figure paydays.
Ireland’s Patrick Clarke came out on top of the leader board with $276,380 won on the season for taking down the 2014 Paddy Power Irish Open in April of 2014.
Season III will begin Jan. 31, 2015 at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, and with five stops already on the calendar the new year is shaping up nicely to crown another round of champions.
Cards will be in the air to kick off Season III in late January at Foxwoods, marking the tour’s second visit to one of the largest casinos in the Western Hemisphere. The tour will then make stops at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada and Choctaw Resort Casino in Durant, Oklahoma. Following on the heels of the Choctaw tournament, the tour will head to Caribbean for two more stops, one in St. Maarten and one aboard Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas.
