Foxwoods Resort Casino will host the Card Player Poker Tour Jan. 31 through Feb. 9 and has plenty of offers to benefit tournament players.
Located on the Pequot Indian Reservation in Mashantucket, Connecticut, Foxwoods will host a 13-tournament series complete with a $1,650 no-limit hold’em $300,000 guarantee main event.
Action will get underway with a $600 no-limit hold’em $100,000 guarantee tournament, followed by a $250 no-limit hold’em $20,000 guarantee. Each tournament on the schedule will include a guaranteed prize pool and options range from no-limit hold’em to Omaha eight-or-better and pot-limit Omaha. The schedule also includes a $250 ladies event and a $250 seniors event.
Players participating in any of the tournaments can book rooms at the property’s Two Trees Inn or Great Cedar Hotel for as low as $79 and $119 per night. To book at the Inn, players must use group code #6576. For the Great Cedar Hotel, players must use #5193.
With a player’s card, players can also earn from five to 15 points for playing in the tournaments – $250 event will earn five points, while $300 to $600 events will earn 10 points. Players in the main event will earn 15 points. In the cash games, players will earn $1 for every hour played at the low limits, $1.50 at the middle limits and $2 for every hour at the high-stakes tables.
