Faraz Jaka is one of tournament poker’s biggest young stars. The World Poker Tour season eight Player of the Year has nearly $4.5 million in live tournament earnings and millions more in online scores.
He is also homeless.
“In the last year I played 102 poker tournaments around the world,” said Jaka. “I went to 47 cities, 13 countries and took 52 flights.”
As a result of all of his traveling to follow the live tournament circuit Jaka decided to get rid of his permanent residence in his hometown of Chicago and live on the road full time.
CNN Money, the world’s largest business website, recently did a video feature on Jaka and his nomadic lifestyle. You can check out the short video in it’s entirety below.
