The World Series of Poker Circuit is going global.

The WSOP announced Thursday that it has begun entering into agreements with poker rooms in Italy, Morocco and Mexico to license the WSOP brand. Marrakesh, a major city in Morocco, will host the first WSOP-C event outside of the United States on Mar. 7.

The WSOP-C, currently a 20-stop tour throughout the United States, will see an international companion join the fray for the 2015-16 Circuit season.

Doing so will allow the Caesars Entertainment Corporation offshoot to run satellites in those areas to WSOP bracelets events in Las Vegas and Europe.

The WSOP-C awards rings, not bracelets, to winners.

WSOP-C events feature smaller buy-ins than typically found at the main WSOP series held from late May to mid-July in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“It’s time to emphasize the ‘World’ in World Series of Poker and more aggressively partner with leading casino operators at the regional level,” the WSOP’s Ty Stewart said in a statement.

Qualifiers from both U.S. and international WSOP Circuit events will eventually compete for a WSOP invitational bracelet, a $1 million freeroll prize pool held in Las Vegas.

“One thing that was clear to me from my time spent in the poker industry is that the passion for poker is ever-present, but players crave value, excitement and superior organization,” WSOP Director Gregory Chochon said in a statement. “These new agreements will allow us to offer meaningful year-round benefits to our casino partners while giving poker players a more direct path to reach the ultimate WSOP dream.”
