Illinois Man Steals $420K In Poker Chips: PoliceDustin Campbell Accused Of January Theft |

An Illinois man was arrested Monday for allegedly stealing $420,000 in casino chips from a professional poker player’s apartment. The alleged theft happened in Los Angeles.
Authorities claim Dustin Campbell, 32, committed the crime back in late January.
The victim is poker pro Matt Kirk.
McDonough County (Illinois) Sheriff Rick VanBrooker said that the LAPD have video from a casino where Campbell allegedly successfully cashed in at least $200,000 worth of the chips, according to wgem.com.
He was arrested at his home in Illinois. At the time of the arrest he had $40,000 in cash and $20,000 worth of casino chips on him, law enforcement said.
The alleged crime could be what poker pro Daniel Alaei tweeted about on Jan. 29.
