Poker pro Ben Tollerene (pictured right) won roughly $232,000 playing online over the past seven days, according to tracking data from HighstakesDB. The Texan won around $140,000 on Full Tilt under his “Bttech86” screen name, while taking in $92,483 on his PokerStars account with the name “Ben86.”
The big winner on the week was Kyle “KPR16” Ray, who won around $277,233. Alexander “joiso” Kostritsyn was the second largest winner with $255,565.
On the flip side, Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond was the largest loser with $232,782 in losses. Not too far behind was Viktor “Isildur1” and his roughly $190,000 in losses.
Blom is down nearly $600,000 this year between PokerStars and Full Tilt.
His Full Tilt account is now the 8th worst in the history of online poker. With his losses over the past week, Blom passed Niki Jedlicka on the losers list. Blom is down $3,976,808 lifetime on Full Tilt, according to the tracking. He’s approaching 1.2 million hands.
Much of Tollerene’s winnings over the past week were from Blom. They were playing $200-$400 and $300-$600 pot-limit Omaha, with the American besting the Swede for six-figures.
The largest pot of the week was played between Blom and unknown high-stakes grinder “Carlooo13.” The two chopped a pot worth more than $300,000, a size rarely seen these days online given the stagnation of the global online poker economy.
With both players sitting on hefty six-figure stacks, both were willing to put $16,200 into the middle preflop at $300-$600 pot-limit Omaha. The flop came K 9 7 and all the money went into the middle. Their cards:
Blom: 7 4 6 5
Carlooo13: K J 10 9
They elected to run it twice. The first run-out was 9 2, giving that half of the pot to Carlooo13 and his full house. The second run-out was 3 Q, which gave Blom a diamond flush.
