One lucky player is going to leave Choctaw Casino Resort Sunday evening with $130,445 and the title of Card Player Poker Tour champion.

The fourth consecutive running of the CPPT Choctaw no-limit hold’em main event promised a $300,000 prizepool for the price of a $1,080 buy-in. But with a massive turnout of 656 players the guarantee was more than doubled, assuring the final 72 players will leave with a piece of the $636,320 prizepool.

The top prize of over $130,000 will be the largest first place payout of Season III of the CPPT and will put the winner at the top of the current leaderboard, besting Maxim Sorokin who took home $101,619 for winning the CPPT Wynn main event.
