Poker pro Phil Ivey won $280,000 on Full Tilt over the past seven days, according to tracking from HighstakesDB. Ivey was the second-largest winner over the stretch, trailing only Ben “Ben86” Tollerene’s $373,000 in winnings at the virtual tables.
However, if you factor in winnings from PokerStars screen name “RaiseOnce”, which is rumored to be Ivey’s, the 10-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner had a $480,000 week. He’s still down roughly $1.3 million on the year, however.
Other winners on the week include “Crazy Elior” ($112,000), Niki Jedlicka ($89,000), Doug “WCG|Rider” Polk ($76,000) and Ola “Odd_Oddsen” Amundsgaard ($65,000).
The losers on the week include Cort “thecortster” Kibler-Melby (-$354,000), Viktor “Isildur1” Blom (-$257,000), Jean-Robert Bellande (-$214,000), Issac “Ike Haxton” Haxton (-$115,000), Kyle “KPR16” Ray (-$99,000), Alex “joiso” Kostritsyn (-$76,000) and Dan “w00ki3z” Cates (-$72,000).
The largest hand of the week occurred during a match between Blom and Tollerene. They were playing heads-up pot-limit Omaha with stakes at $200-$400.
Blom had the button and raised to $1,360. Tollerene called. The flop fell J 8 6.
Tollerene checked. Blom bet $2,400, and Tollerene check-raised to $7,000. Blom called.
The turn was the 7. Tollerene bet $13,000. Blom called.
The river brought the 10, and Tollerene put Blom all-in for $37,000. Blom called.
Blom held the Q 10 9 4, while Tollerene tabled the Q 10 9 4, for the same hand. The pot was split between the two nosebleed regulars.
