The inaugural World Poker Tour Choctaw $3,700 no-limit hold’em main event attracted a huge field of 1,175 players to nearly double the $2 million prize pool guarantee with a final total of $3,989,125 paid out to the top 145 finishers.

After three full days of exciting action there are now only six players remaining to battle it out for the title and the $682,975 first-place prize. Headlining the final table is two-time WPT main event champion Darren Elias. The 2014 WPT Borgata Poker Open and 2014 WPT Caribbean main event champ is looking to join the likes of Anthony Zinno, Gus Hansen and Carlos Mortensen as a three-time champion on the tour. He will enter the final day in second chip position with 8,130,000 or 103 big blinds, with players returning to 40,000 – 80,000 with an ante of 10,000.

The chip leader heading into the final table is Andy Hwang with 10,935,000 (137 big blinds.) Also in the mix is 2014 Card Player Player of the Year eighth-place finisher Jake Schindler with 5,675,000 and Mina Greco, who will have 2,220,000 coming into the final table. Greco will be attempting to become the first female player to win an open WPT main event tomorrow when play resumes at 4:00 pm CT.

A number of big names made deep runs in this event, only to fall just short of making the final day. The WPT’s very own Vince Van Patten, who has called the action at final tables with Mike Sexton since the tour’s inception, finished 14th for $40,532. Other notables who made it to the final few tables include Bryn Kenney (19th – $30,995), Poker Hall of Famer Erik Seidel (12th – $50,466), 2015 WSOP bracelet winner Upeshka De Silva_ (11th – $50,466) , Mukul Pahuja (10th – $50,466), Steve Sung (8th – $89,806) and 2013 WPT bestbet Jacksonville champ Jared Jafee (7th – $112,854).

Here is a look at the final table chip counts:
