Poker rooms across the state of Nevada collected $11,458,000 in rake in July, which was a 0.59-percent uptick year-over-year, according to figures released late this week by Silver State gaming regulators.

There were 68 poker rooms with a combined 743 cash game tables in July. June and July have more tables, and revenue, compared to other months thanks to the annual World Series of Poker.

July follows a $15,840,000 June for Nevada poker rooms, which was a 4.46-percent increase compared to the same month in 2014.

Nevada poker rooms took in $119.9 million in 2014, and that could be topped this year due to solid summer months for poker in Nevada. May’s 0.62-percent increase year-over-year was then the first such uptick since April 2014’s 2.63-percent increase compared to April 2013.

Revenue from online poker is included in the figures.

Just this week, the Linq on the Las Vegas Strip re-opened a small poker room.
