World Poker Tour Legends of Poker Main Event Draws 786 Entries

Eventual Champion To Earn $$675,942 After Field Grows 25 Percent Year-Over-Year

The official numbers are in for the 2015 World Poker Tour Legends of Poker $3,700 no-limit hold’em main event at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, CA. The three starting days drew 721 entries, but even after day 1C came to a close registration remained open.

A total of 65 players who took advantage of the chance to register all the way up until the start of day 2 in this event. Some of the players who bought in on day 2 included Huck Seed, Matt Salsberg, Freddy Deeb, Faraz Jaka, Sam Stein, John Hennigan and Tuan Lee.

All told the final number of entries swelled to 786, a 25 percent increase over the 2014 turnout of 593. As a result the total prize pool grew to $2,630,349 with 72 players making the money.

A min cash in the event will be worth $7,583 while the eventual champion is set to walk away with $675,942.
