Ten-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner Phil “RaiseOnce” Ivey was the biggest winner in the online poker world over the past week, taking in roughly $447,000 on PokerStars, according to tracking data from HighstakesDB. The profits marked his second $400,000 week this month.
Despite the wins, Ivey is still down roughly $800,000 this year on the site. On Full Tilt, where Ivey plays under the screen name “Polarizing,” he is down roughly $1.2 million. All of Ivey’s action since July has been on PokerStars.
Other big winners over the past seven days include WRUUUUM ($400,783), taktloss47 ($277,080), Jens “Jeans89” Kyllönen ($210,025) and BERRI SWEET ($156,056). On the flip side, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom (-$386,832), WithColor (-$308,360), thecortster (-$266,750), Trueteller (-$215,243) and RaúlGonzalez (-$198,923) were the biggest losers.
The largest hand of the week was won by Kyllönen.
At $200-$400 pot-limit Omaha on PokerStars on Thursday, with six players at the table, WithColor opened the action to $1,800 from the cutoff. Isaac Haxton called on the button, and Kyllönen three-bet to $8,400 from the small blind. WithColor called, and Haxton woke up with a four-bet to $36,300. Kyllönen called and so did WithColor.
The flop fell K 10 9.
Kyllönen shoved for $78,400 into the pot worth a little more than $100,000. WithColor called off his last $14,300, and Haxton called all-in for $51,000.
Their cards:
Kyllönen: A 10 Q J
WithColor: K J 10 9
Haxton: A A K 2
All three players had premium preflop holdings, but Kyllönen flopped the nuts.
According to Card Player’s Omaha odds calculator, Kyllönen’s hand holds up roughly 77 percent of the time, while WithColor wins about 20 percent of the time. Haxton only wins about 1 percent of the time, and there’s a chop the remainder of the time.
They elected to run it twice, and the first run-out was the 8 6, and the second was the J 5. Both were good for Kyllönen, and he scooped the $224,340 pot.
