Swedish poker pro Viktor Blom logged 17,000 hands over the past week and netted $1.3 million in winnings, according to tracking data from HighstakesDB.

Blom is now up nearly $4.4 million on the year on PokerStars, which has gotten him out of the red lifetime on the site. He’s up $2.89 million on the site since early 2011 under his current screen name. Over on Full Tilt, Blom has lost $1.3 million on the year. He hasn’t played on that site since July.

While Blom won big, Phil “RaiseOnce” Ivey lost just over $1 million on PokerStars since last Friday. The largest chunk of his 14,000 hands were in the eight-game mix. Ivey is down about $1.5 million on PokerStars in 2015. On Full Tilt, Ivey has dropped $1.25 million.

One of the largest hands since last Friday was won by Blom on Thursday. The hand was at $200-$400 pot-limit Omaha, and it featured a sick cooler card on the river. The hand was against unknown PokerStars player “cumicon”.

Their cards:

Blom: KClub Suit 8Club Suit 8Heart Suit 2Club Suit
cumicon: KHeart Suit KDiamond Suit 7Spade Suit 5Diamond Suit

Blom began the action by raising to $1,400 on the button. Cumicon decided to just call with his strong preflop hand. Blom was sitting with roughly $100,000 and was covered by his opponent.

The flop fell KSpade Suit JHeart Suit 8Spade Suit.

Cumicon checked, and Blom bet $2,800. Cumicon check-raised to $8,200 with his top set, and Blom called. The turn was the 6Spade Suit. Cumicon bet $15,200, and Blom called.

The river brought the 8Diamond Suit, giving Blom the one-outer he needed to win the hand. Cumicon bet $36,400 with his full house, and Blom shoved for $78,400. Cumicon quickly called and saw the bad news. Blom raked in the $206,000 pot, using the winnings to continue his months-long upswing.
