Caesars Entertainment will no longer manage two casinos and one racino in Ohio, according to a report from the Associated Press. NBA owner Dan Gilbert’s Rock Gaming will take over control of the properties, just nine months after he bought out Caesars’ 20 percent ownership in the Buckeye State gambling facilities.

Caesars’ casino operating unit is currently going through Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection to try to shed billions of dollars worth of debt.

The gambling facilities in Ohio that Caesars has been involved with since they opened will have new names, according to the report. The changes will happen by the middle of next year.

The two Las Vegas-style casinos are in Cleveland and Cincinnati. Penn National Gaming owns and operates the state’s two other casinos, one in Toledo and one in Columbus.

Rock Gaming plans to offer a new loyalty rewards program.
