A masked man robbed a poker gaming being held at a firehouse in Union Beach, New Jersey this past weekend, according to a report from NJ.com.

The thief was wearing a ski mask and entered the side door of the establishment at around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday and made off with $3,000. Fortunately, no one was injured in the robbery.

It’s unclear if the gunman had ties to the card game.

“There was an incident involving a hall rental at our firehouse,” the fire department said in a Facebook post. “All firefighters are safe and the building is secure. The incident is being investigated by the local police department. We cannot comment further due to the active investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Shawn Gilkison at 732-264-0313.
