Via ESPNA Las Vegas woman is $100,000 richer after hitting a 20,000-1 parlay betting on the NFL this past weekend, ESPN reported.

Marketing manager Tayla Polia bet $5 on a 15-team parlay at one of Nevada’s mobile sports books. Nevada is the only state in the country with full-scale sports betting, and one of three with online casino games.

Polia reportedly was on the right side of the point spread in 14 games and correctly picked the over in the Steelers vs. Broncos game. She didn’t even know how spreads worked on Sunday, she said. She picked the games just on who she thought would win.

“On Sunday morning, my boyfriend and I were sitting on the couch talking about how spreads worked,” Polia said. “He was frustrated since I wasn’t getting it right away.”

“I remembered that I picked the Giants and they lost,” she added. “So I thought it was strange when I looked at it [Tuesday] morning and saw that I won.”

While her success was huge and one of the biggest long-shot wins in Nevada sports betting history, the winnings will likely be insignificant for the Nevada sports betting industry.

Nevada sports books saw $3.9 billion in wagers in all of 2014, winning $227 million. Both totals were all-time highs. Revenue from sports betting is up well over 10 percent this year.
