The new Seminole Center has big plans this March, with its Seminole Immokalee Poker Challenge taking place Mar. 8-13. Last September, Seminole Casino Hotel held the first major tournament series in Southwest Florida, offering the largest guarantee ever paid in the area.

This year another record breaker will be the $1,650 no-limit hold’em main event offering a whopping $200,000 guarantee along with an added $3,500 seat into the televised WPT Seminole Hard Rock Showdown in April.

Last year’s event attracted more than 600 players, including Poker Hall of Fame members Scotty Nguyen and Linda Johnson. Other pros included Tristan Wade, Michael Laake, Allen Kessler, and Rex Clinkscales. At the time, the man in charge, Richard “Rick” O’Connell promised the best poker event in Southwest Florida. He delivered, and be assured O’Connell will make history repeat itself at Seminole Casino Hotel in an even bigger way this year.

Seminole Casino Hotel is Southwest Florida’s number one destination, located along the Paradise Coast at 506 South 1st Street, Immokalee, 35 miles from Naples and just 35 miles from Fort Myers. For additional information visit the casino homepage. ♠
