Formerly known as Hawaiian Garden’s Casino, the Gardens Casino has announced a soft opening for their new $90 million facility. The project was originally started in March of 2014 and is scheduled to be completed later this year with added amenities such as 220 new flat-screen televisions, new gaming tables, a new events center, an upscale bar and lounge and a casual restaurant with seating for more than 100 guests.

The renovation brings the new casino’s footprint to 200,000 square feet, which will allow the property to house more than 300 gaming tables.

“Our business keeps growing, so this expansion was designed specifically for our guests so that we can provide the premier gaming and dining experience in Southern California,” said Ron Sarabi, general manager of The Gardens Casino. “The new casino provides our guests with a truly elevated experience, including more space, state-of-the-art card tables and amenities, two designated VIP areas and a diverse restaurant and bar all within our new building.”

Previously, the casino welcomed between 5,000 and 7,000 guests each day for gaming and dining experiences, but the new casino is expected to increase guest capacity by as much as 50 percent. The Gardens Casino will also add about 400 new jobs, bringing the total workforce to 2,200 employees.
