The upcoming film “Molly’s Game,” which will be the directorial debut for Oscar-winning screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, will star Jessica Chastain (pictured right) and Idris Elba, according to a report from The Guardian.

Chastain will play poker organizer Molly Bloom, who earned $1 million from running high-stakes underground games for celebrities and rich businessmen. Elba will play her lawyer.

The film is listed as in pre-production on IMDB and doesn’t have a release date yet.

The 39-year-old Chastain has been in movies such as “Interstellar” and “The Martian.”

Bloom was indicted by the federal government, but took a plea in 2014 and didn’t go to prison.

“The casting of Jessica and Idris in the two lead roles is any film-maker’s dream come true,” Sorkin said in a statement. “They’re two of the greatest actors of their generation, paired for the first time, and their chemistry will be electric.”

Sorkin was hired as the screenwriter for the film adaptation of Bloom’s memoir back in 2014, but later agreed to direct the project as well.
