After a grand opening ceremony Thursday night, the Wynn Las Vegas will officially open their brand new poker room at Encore with live cash games.

The new space is about 62 percent larger than the previous room, with the number of tables increasing from 25 to 28. The added square footage allows players to experience elbow room unlike any other in the city, with plenty of space to move between tables.

The room will also have its own dedicated restrooms, a sports book window, 37 big screen televisions and USB charging ports for every seat. There is also a four-table high-limit area with its own cage and cashier window.

Despite all of the shiny, new amenities the room has to offer, Director of Poker Operations Ryan Beauregard says that the players can expect the Wynn to offer the same professionalism and customer service that has created a loyal following in Las Vegas since the doors opened in 2005.

“My motto is to treat players well,” said Beauregard. “Looking back at when Wynn first opened, it’s always been about building a sense of community. We get to know our guests, listen to their feedback and improve when we can. The new room will give us the opportunity to really show people that Wynn offers a fair and friendly place to play poker. If you can offer a good product and treat people well, then you can win the players over. Conveying the five-star experience is always our goal.”

While all cash game action shifts to Encore, the original Wynn poker room will remain open during the summer to play host to the Wynn Summer Classic_. You can see the full schedule hereclassic.cfm, or follow @WynnPoker on Twitter for additional information.
