Joe Giron/WSOPBrazillian soccer star Neymar Jr won a satellite a few days ago that gives him a seat in the 2016 World Series of Poker main event, which begins in early July.

The two-table satellite event at the Rio awarded him the $10,000 buy-in for the tournament. Neymar is no stranger to poker. He’s a PokerStars sponsored player and has played a lot over in Europe at EPT stops.

He was signed by the poker company in May of last year. Just a few months later, the 24-year-old generated a lot of buzz when he hit a royal flush playing in a low buy-in tournament on PokerStars.

Fortunately for Neymar, the 2016 Rio Olympics begin on Friday, Aug. 5, which gives him the opportunity to play in the main event if he wants to.

The WSOP posted a video of Neymar at the table to its YouTube channel.
