This September, the Card Player Poker Tour is making its inaugural trip to Montreal, Canada for the World Cup of Cards, a 29-event series hosted by the Playground Poker Club, which features $2 million in guarantees.
The CAD $1,500+$150 buy-in CPPT main event will sport a $400,000 guarantee and kicks off with two starting flights starting Sept. 10-11. The action concludes with the final table Sept. 13.
You can also win your way into the event for as little as $100+$10 or $165+$15 in satellites leading up to the main event that run Aug. 21, 25, 28 and Sept. 4, 8 and 9.
The series begins Aug. 18 with a $200,000 guaranteed quantum reload event. Other events on the schedule include bounties, pot-limit Omaha, pot-limit Omaha eight-or-better, crazy pineapple, big antes, dealer’s choice, five-card pot-limit Omaha, turbos, limit hold’em and more.
