Poker rooms across the state of Maryland raked $2.8 million from players during the month of October, according to figures released by gaming regulators.

The state has 85 poker tables.

The $2.8 million was down from the $3 million raked in October 2015. Through the first 10 months of 2016, the casinos have raked $28.8 million from poker.

Poker revenue was $29.8 million through the first 10 months of 2015.

The state legalized home poker games earlier this year.

Maryland has five casinos: Hollywood Casino Perryville in Cecil County, Horseshoe Casino Baltimore in Baltimore City, Casino at Ocean Downs in Worcester County, Maryland Live Casino in Anne Arundel County, and Rocky Gap Casino Resort in Allegany County.

Hollywood Casino Perryville had poker revenue of $84,000 last month, while Maryland Live had $2 million and Horse Casino Baltimore had $650,000. The other casinos don’t have poker.

Overall table games revenue for the month was $34.4 million.

Total gaming win for October was $95.5 million, an increase of 0.8 percent from October 2015. The casinos set a revenue record of $104.4 million in May.

Maryland will get a sixth casino in early December, when a $1.4 billion casino from MGM Resorts opens at National Harbor. It hasn’t announced how many poker tables it will have.

Horseshoe Baltimore and Maryland Live have 25 and 52 poker tables, respectively. Hollywood’s poker room has just eight tables.
