The World Series of Poker announced the dates for the 48th annual running of poker’s biggest tournament series. The 2017 WSOP will once again take place at the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino, with the action kicking off on Tuesday, May 30 and continuing through the decision of the final table of the WSOP main event on Monday, July 17.

“We want to wish everyone Happy Holidays and best wishes for a safe and successful 2017,” said WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart. “We are busy trying to finalize the entire 2017 WSOP schedule. We anticipate a similar series to last year with a few new wrinkles, but ensuring a broad array of options to satisfy every potential participant.”

While the exact schedule of events that will take place over the 49-day festival has not yet been announced, the WSOP did announce a number of events that will definitely be returning in 2017, including the Millionaire Maker, Monster Stack and the Little One for One Drop. The third running of the Colossus will once again feature a $565 buy-in re-entry format. There will be two starting flights each day over three days in a row, running Jun. 2-4.

The Seniors and Ladies championship events will also be back in 2017.

The WSOP announced that the full event-by-event schedule is expected to be released sometime in February, and 70 or more official bracelet events are expected. The dates offered in this announcement are still subject to change.
