All six of the starting flights in the 2017 Card Player Poker Tour Ocean’s 11 San Diego Classic $250 buy-in no-limit hold’em event are now in the books, with 861 entries made so far in this exciting event. Flight 1E drew 196 entries while flight 1F added another 162. That mean’s that the prize pool has already swollen to $171,600 and that number is still going to grow, making this the largest CPPT event ever held at Ocean’s 11!

Players who still want to take part in this exciting event can buy directly into day 2 by taking advantage of the Quantum Reload structure. Players who exercise this option can enter on Sunday, April 23 by 1:00 PM (no late registration) for only $1,500. Direct buy-in will give players a healthy starting stack of 100,000 (20,000 more with an optional $30 staff add on) and 40-minute rounds to work with.

From the 358 entries made in Friday’s two starting flights, only 52 players made it through to day 2, with Andrew Wisdom bagging up the chip lead with a massive 508,700 stack. Throughout the six starting flights there were eight players to qualify for day 2 more than once, with Joseph Ochoa and Lori Ann Persinger being the only players to qualify three times. Players that qualify multiple times will take their largest stack forward and be paid $1,200 in lieu of any additional entry into day 2.

There are 116 players that will return to day 2, not including those who will Quantum Reload. Here is a look at their chip counts heading into the day:
