Australian gaming company Centrebet’s year-on-year poker revenue results show a small drop from $4.7 million (AUD) at year-end June 2007 to $4.5 million at year-end June 2008.

Although poker revenue grew at 7 percent in real terms this year, the U.S. exchange rate had an adverse impact on growth in Australian dollars.

Total revenue increased by $3.8 million, from $58.9 million in 2007 to $62.7 million in 2008.

The company says it will continue to offer and promote poker, largely because it assists in retaining its wagering and casino clients.
