Marathon Macau Final Table Sees American Take Down $453,851; Swede and Dane Come Fourth and Fifth

Edward SabatAmerican Edward Sabat has won the PokerStars.com Asia Pacific Poker Tour event in Macau, topping a field of 538 players to lift the $453,851 first prize. Sabat battled through a 12-hour final table to triumph in the $3,200 buy-in event after qualifying online. Two Europeans made the final table: Mikael Rosen came fourth for $108,600 and Dane Jeppe Drivsholm made fifth for $81,044.

The four-day event saw 56 players make the money, and eight nations were represented at the final table. The final event of the APPT Macau is currently under way. The $19,200 High Roller game will see a victor tomorrow, Sept. 9.
