Scotsman Brian Clark has won the £1,000 buy in Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Blackpool main event overcoming a massive chipBrian Clarke - winner of the GUKPT Blackpool deficit to beat Zachary Ford to collect the £96,500 to prize. Clark doubled up several times, including the first hand of the heads up battle when he rivered a five to take the pot.

Ford, who came third in Manchester, held A-K in the final hand to Clarke’s Q-Q. The flop saw both an ace and a king but the river fell a queen to mark Clarke’s victory and one of the most memorable GUKPT’s ever.

Swede Andreas Hoivold held the chip lead going into the final table but couldn’t convert it to victory and came third with Ben Vinson, son of well known rounder Alan, came fourth.

The tour culminates in the much anticipated £3,000 Grand Final next week in the Grosvenor Victoria Casino, London.
