The final table is now set and rearing to go at the third instalment of the $3,000 buy-in Women’s World Open, and with a $108,000 prize pool up for grabs, there is a lot to play for. The remaining seven players are said to make up the strongest final table in the history of the event.

They are:

Jennifer Mason
Maria Demetriou
Shana Casaletto
Aisling Collins
Cat O’Neill
Kim Wooka
Cecilia Nordenstem

The standard of play is top class going into the final, which features Card Player columnist Jen Mason who is no stranger to going deep in an event, especially this one — she finished runner up to Beverley Pace in 2007, Casaletto has won consecutive side events at the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, Nordenstem cashed in her first five World Poker Tour events, Wooka is Japanese Ladies Champion, O’Neill was put forward by poker star Marty Smyth, and Demetriou was a favourite before any cards hit the felt.

Only time will tell who will be the one taking home the $50,000 top prize in this nail biting finale.
