Central and Eastern Europe will see its first land-based World Poker Tour tournament in the form of WPT Slovakia. The fifth stop of the tour kicks off on Aug. 31 and runs until Sept. 4 at the Herna Golden Vegas Casino in Bratislava, and includes a €4,000 + €400 deep stack main event.

Steve Lipscomb, WPT Founder and Chief Executive Officer said, “WPT Slovakia is a unique and exciting addition to the World Poker Tour‘s expanding international tournament offering. We have found a great partner in Slovak Poker Sport Federation, who are truly dedicated to growing the sport of poker in the Central and Eastern European territory.”

The event will be directed and run by Steve Frezer and his team of dealers.
