The PartyPoker.com World Open V will run from Oct.11 to 15 at the Palm Beach Casino in Mayfair, London.

Not all 48 players have been confirmed but those who will definitely be making a play at the $250,000 top prize include Mike Sexton, Daniel Negreanu, Johnny Chan, Tom Dwan, Luke Schwartz, November Niner James Akenhead, Neil Channing, Marty Smyth, Roberto Romanello, Jennifer Tilly, and Andy Black.

The new PartyPoker grassroots team will also be there — Remy Biechel, Felipe Ramos, Ian Frazer, and Bodo Sbrzesny.

This year there have been some changes such as triple the starting stacks, eight-seat tables for the heats, and seven for the final, and most importantly, there is the chance to qualify for the $10,000 buy-in event online. The packages are worth $13,000 including the buy-in, seven nights accommodation, and $1,000 spending money.

Every Sunday at 2.15 p.m. (ET), there is a $650 + $50 satellite which awards a package for every 20 players. If this sounds a little pricey, daily qualifiers are currently running from as little as $3, and there is a satellite into Sunday’s main satellite every day at 2.25 p.m., except for on Sundays it is at 12.55 p.m. and is speed.

The total prize pool is $480,000, and the event will be covered on worldwide television.

Elsewhere at the site, a new promotion, The Cash Machine, is due to begin in September, which sees points turn into cold hard cash if a player earns a minimum of 10 PartyPoints on at least 10 days between Sept. 1 and 28.
