UK Ireland Poker Tour Nottingham Champion Decided Today

Owen RobinsonThe final table of the PokerStars UK Ireland Poker Tour £500 + £60 main event in Nottingham begins today at noon and Irishman Owen Robinson is leading the pack.

A record-breaking 650 players turned out to the Dusk Till Dawn poker room for the fourth stop of the Tour making it the second biggest major tournament to have taken place in the UK.

The largest was the European Poker Tour London in season 6.

The business end of the £325,000 prize pool will be decided as the following eight men battle it out today:

Those who did not make the final table but managed to cash in the event include Mickey Wernick, Rupinder Bedi, John Eames, Peter Charalambous, and Maria Demetriou. Belgian Gilles Augustus took down leg three of the Tour in Coventry for £46,000 after beating a field of 368. Check back here tomorrow to find out who is made £80,000 richer in Nottingham.
