PKR.com kicks off its month long poker festival, London Calling, today, Oct. 11, at The Fox Poker Club, London.

The 28 days of poker festivities runs until Nov. 7 and will appeal to all wallet sizes with buy-ins ranging from £20 to £100. There will be a whopping 57 tournaments including no-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, pot-limit Omaha eight, Heads-up events, and a two-day H.O.R.S.E event. The festival will finish on a high note with the £300 buy-in main event.

PKR Marketing Director, Simon Prodger, said, “It’s been our ambition to put on an event like this for some time, and we’re delighted that London now has the perfect venue in which to do so. With regular buy-ins ranging from £20, ‘London Calling’ is for the huge number of people who’d love to play a high-quality, dealer dealt tournament but find most poker tours and festivals are too high for their bankroll.”

Those taking part will earn points based on where they finish in each event and a leader board will keep track of this throughout the festival. The points will then be converted to starting stacks in a special freeroll taking place later at PKR.com.

Last month PKR celebrated its fourth birthday. To mark the occasion the site launched V2.0 of its famous software, the largest overhaul at PKR since it opened its doors.
