Oklahoma State Championship of Poker Begins Today

The $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em Main Event Begins Feb. 15

Oklahoma Road SignThe Oklahoma State Championship of Poker tournament series began today at the Cherokee Casino and Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The series will feature 22 events, and half of them will award Card Player Player of the Year points. The $3,000 championship event begins on Sunday, Feb. 15 and it will conclude the following day. Events will feature no-limit, limit, and pot-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, Omaha eight-or-better, heads-up no-limit hold’em, seven-card stud, seven-card stud eight-or-better, six-handed hold’em, triple draw, and H.O.R.S.E. There will be two mega-satellites for the no-limit hold’em main event. The first begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 and the final one begins at the same time on Saturday, Feb. 14. The buy-in for those satellites are $340.

Friday, Feb. 6: Event No. 2 — $300 pot-limit Omaha state championship
Friday, Feb. 6: Event No. 3 — $100 no-limit hold’em
Saturday, Feb. 7: Event No. 4 — $300 no-limit hold’em state championship
Saturday, Feb. 7: $300 Mega Satellite
Sunday, Feb. 8: Event No. 5 — $300 Omaha eight-or-better state championship
Sunday, Feb. 8: Event No. 6 — $300 heads-up no-limit hold’em state championship
Sunday, Feb. 8: Event No. 7 — $100 no-limit hold’em
Monday, Feb. 9: Event No. 8 — $300 seniors no-limit hold’em state championship
Monday, Feb. 9: Event No. 9 — $100 no-limit hold’em
Tuesday, Feb. 10: Event No. 10 — $300 six-handed hold’em state championship
Tuesday, Feb. 10: Event No. 11 — $300 seven-card stud/seven-card stud eight-or-better state championship

Wednesday, Feb. 11: Event No. 13 — $300 limit hold’em state championship
