Oklahoma State Championship of Poker Begins Today

The Oklahoma State Championship of Poker tournament series began today at the Cherokee Casino and Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The series will feature 22 events, and half of them will award Card Player Player of the Year points. The $3,000 championship event begins on Sunday, Feb. 15 and it will conclude the following day. Events will feature no-limit, limit, and pot-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, Omaha eight-or-better, heads-up no-limit hold’em, seven-card stud, seven-card stud eight-or-better, six-handed hold’em, triple draw, and H.O.R.S.E. There will be two mega-satellites for the no-limit hold’em main event. The first begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 and the final one begins at the same time on Saturday, Feb. 14. The buy-in for those satellites are $340.
