Yuval BronshteinYuval Bronshtein Eliminated In 15th Place

Bronshtein found himself all in against Vladimir Schmelev. That was already a bad sign which got worse when Schmelev showed AHeart SuitAClub SuitQHeart Suit. Bronshtein had split sixes and took one of Schmelev’s aces on fifth street.

But Schmelev caught the case ADiamond Suit for trips and Bronshtein was drawing dead. He made a worthless two pair on the river and he was eliminated.

Kostritsyn: (8Club Suit8Spade Suit6Diamond Suit)9Heart SuitAClub Suit8Heart Suit-X
Adams: ADiamond SuitQDiamond Suit10Diamond SuitQClub Suit10Club Suit7Diamond SuitJHeart Suit

Unfortunately for Kostritsyn, he would not make it past the level as he was eliminated in 18th place, setting up hand-for-hand play.

Evdakov Slams Heimiller

Nikolay Evdakov took a huge pot off Dan Heimiller to move over 400,000 in chips. Evdakov had the 6Spade Suit showing and turned over 6Heart Suit6Club Suit for trips to take a chunk out of Heimiller’s stack.

Heimiller was at 75,000 while Evdakov was at 415,000.

Freddie EllisFreddie Ellis Eliminated

The defending champion hung in for a long time, but Brandon Adams delivered the knockout blow and abolished any idea of a repeat champion.

Ellis: (JSpade SuitJDiamond Suit)10Spade Suit10Club Suit7Spade Suit3Club Suit
Adams: (9Diamond Suit9Club Suit)4Diamond Suit9Heart Suit2Heart SuitAHeart Suit

Adams build his stack back up to 415,000 with the pot.

Dario AliotoDario Alioto Bubbles The Money, Eliminated By Men The Master

Dario Alioto nursed a short stack for almost two hours during hand-for-hand play. Finally, he played a pot for all of his chips.

Nguyen received a 3Spade Suit on fourth street whihle Alioto received the KHeart Suit.

“You’ve got two options,” Nguyen said. “You check, I bet; or you bet I raise.”

Alioto decided to bet and Nguyen was true to his word, raising enough to put Alioto all in.

Nguyen turned over (ASpade Suit7Club Suit) for split sevens while Alioto had nothing. Nguyen held the lead until the river when Alioto flipped over the KDiamond Suit to pair his king. Mizrachi then turned over 6Club Suit6Spade Suit to go with his 6Diamond Suit for trip sixes. Adams held aces up, but they went into the muck as Mizrachi took a big pot off the chip leader. Mizrachi took the chip lead, chipping up to 415,000 while Adams was at 380,000 in chips.
