Dale Eberle Eliminated in 2nd Place ($103,454)
Dale Eberle entered heads-up play outchipped by more than 2:1, and Pechie took nearly two-thirds of his stack just minutes into the final heads-up match. Pechie flopped top set and Eberle rivered top pair in a big pot that went to showdown.
That hand put Pechie up to about 4 million and left Eberle on the short stack with just 500,000. On the next hand, Eberle got it all in before the flop with Q
J against Pechie’s K

K 3 5 7, giving Pechie middle pair on the flop to win the pot. Dale Eberle was eliminated in 2nd place ($103,454) while Justin Pechie wins the gold bracelet for Event #41 and the $167,060 grand prize.
NOTE: With the elimination of Mathieu Jacqmin in 3rd place, Justin Pechie took the chip lead going into heads-up play with 3,200,000 to Dale Eberle’s 1,300,000.
Mathieu Jacqmin Eliminated in 3rd Place ($68,715)
Mathieu Jacqmin had the chip lead going into three-handed play but quickly lost momentum and saw his stack dissipate. On his final hand of the night, Justin Pechie raised from the small blind and Mathieu Jacqmin called from the big blind.

, Pechie bet, Jacqmin raised, Pechie three-bet and Jacqmin called.
The turn was the 2, Pechie bet and Jacqmin called.
The river was the J, Pechie bet and Jacqmin called all in. Pechie turned over K 2 for two pair and Jacqmin threw a smaller two pair (jacks and sevens) into the muck. Mathieu Jacqmin was eliminated in 3rd place ($68,715) while Justin Pechie took the chip lead going into heads-up play.
Eugene Katchalov Eliminated in 4th Place ($50,993)
Eugene Katchalov was doubled through by Dale Eberle at the beginning of Level 25 after Eberle sucked out with A – 9 against A – K on an A – 9 – 5 flop, leaving Katchalov with just 250,000.
Shortly after, Katchalov got it all in before the flop with
K 10 against Eberle’s 9 9.
The board came J 7 2 A 4, no help to Eugene Katchalov who was eliminated in 4th place ($50,993).

Stephen Bass started the level as one of the short stacks was eliminated in 6th place shortly after it began.
Mathieu Jacqmin raised before the flop, Stephen Bass three-bet from the small blind, Justin Pechie called from the big blind and Jacqmin called the raise.
The flop came A 8 7, Bass bet, Pechie called, Jacqmin raised, Bass called all in for 5,000 and Pechie folded.

Jordan Rich Eliminated in 5th Place ($38,268)
Jordan Rich lost most of his chips to Mathieu Jacqmin after Jacqmin went runner-runner to make a full house, leaving Rich on the short stack. Rich got it all in before the flop on the very next hand with Q 8 and ran into Dale Eberle’s A A.
The board came 4 4 2 4 K, giving Eberle a full house on the turn. Jordan Rich was eliminated in 4th place ($38,268).

Justin Pechie Takes the Chip lead
Eugene Katchalov came back from the dinner break with the chip lead, but lost a decent sized pot to Justin Pechie who made a full house with A J. That hand dropped Katchalov down to 850,000 and moved Pechie up to 775,000.
Pechie first stole the chip lead and broke the million-mark after raking a pot with Q – 10 against Dale Eberle’s J – 10 on a ten-high board. That hand and a few other prior ones left Eberle under 500,000 and Pechie the new chip leader with 1.3 million.
Pechie won a big three-way pot towards the end of the level with pocket queens after flopping top set and turning a full house. That hand put Pechie way out in front with about 1.6 million and left both Stephen Bass and Dale Eberle on the short stacks with about 200,000 each.

Eberle Leads, Denotaristefani on the Short Stack
Despite the slow nature of a limit tournament, there has been some strong chip movement this afternoon in the early stages of the blind structure. Although the final ten players each started with a fresh stack of 450,000 and over 50 BBs, there is a large variance in the chip counts after two levels with Dale Eberle leading with 741,000 on the high end and Domenico Denotaristefani trailing with just 172,000 at the break.
Jordan rich took an early lead in the first level after rivering a straight with A – J to crack a flopped set of sixes for Domenico Denotaristefani. That hand put Rich out front with almost 600,000, and began Denotaristefani’s downward spiral. Denotaristefani lost another big pot to Dale Eberle in the second level after Eberle won a showdown with pocket aces. That hand left Denotaristefani with just over 250,000, and started Eberle’s rapid ascent up the leaderboard.
Denotaristefani continued to lose chips as the second level closed out, down to under 100,000 before tripling up over 180,000 with a set of queens towards the end of the level. While Denotaristefani was busy trying to hold on to the remains of his dwindling stack, Dale Eberle was busy adding to his, ending the level on top with 741,000.

NOTE: The shootout formula is different than most in that it plays more like a series of single-table sit-n-go’s than a conventional tournament. Each of the remaining ten players had to win two tables to get here, one on each of the first two days of this event.
