Kathy Liebert raised to 175,000 and Steve Brecher moved all in. Liebert made the all-in call and the two players flipped up their cards:

Brecher won the hand with his ace kicker. Brecher was awarded the first-place prize worth $1,025,500 and his first World Poker Tour title. Liebert was awarded $550,000 for her runner-up finish. Brecher also won the $5,000 bounty for knocking out the final shooting star remaining in the event.

Kathy Liebert raised to 150,000 and Steve Brecher made the call. The flop was dealt K54, Brecher checked, Liebert bet 200,000, and Brecher called. The turn fell 9 and both players checked. The river fell 9 and and Brecher checked. Liebert bet 400,000 and Brecher thought for a moment before he made the call. Liebert said, "Good call," and she mucked her hand. Brecher turned up a five for two pair.











 

Chris Moore raised to 125,000 from the small blind preflop and Steve Brecher called from the big blind. The flop was dealt 954 and Moore moved all in. Brecher made the call and they flipped up their cards:

Moore: AK
Brecher: K3

Turn and River: 56

Brecher won the hand to grow his stack to 5,540,000 and Moore was eliminated in third place. He will take home $291,500 in prize money and the three-handed battle that lasted more than five hours has now come to a close.





 

Steve Brecher limped from the button for 40,000 and Kathy Liebert raised to 240,000 from the small blind. Moore made the call from the big blind and Brecher mucked.

The flop fell K83 and Liebert bet 250,000. Moore moved all in and Liebert went into the tank for close to 10 minutes. She eventually mucked and Moore won the hand to grow his stack to 2,910,000. Liebert was knocked down to 890,000 after the hand.
