Paul Lee Wins the $2,000 NLHE Event ($206,795)

In a short heads up battle Paul Lee defeated Mohamed Ahmedin and won the $2,000 NLHE event at the Bellagio.  Lee pushed all in with QT and was called by Ahmedin with J8.  The cards came A44KQ giving Lee a pair of queens and the title.  Ahmedin finished second for $111,975.


Paul Lee wins the tournament, $206,795 and a $25,000 entry into the WPT Championship.
 

Heads-Up Play Begins

Heads-Up play betwee Mohamed Ahmedin and Paul Lee is now underway.
 

Tommy Hang Eliminated 3rd ($55,990)

On a board of J73, Paul Lee bets $100,000 and Tommy Hang makes the call.  The turn is the J and Lee moves all in.  Hang calls immediately and shows J8.  Lee turns over J5 and needs a five on the river to win the pot.  The river comes the 5 and Lee makes a full house.  Hang is eliminated from the tournament in 3rd place.
 

Tommy Hang Doubles Up Again

Tommy Hang raises to $36,000 from the button and Mohamed Ahmedin reraises to $81,000 total.  Hang moves all in for $212,000 total and Ahmedin makes the call.  Hang shows 66 but Ahmedin turns over 1010.  However, the board comes 84375 and Hang rivers a straight to win the pot and double up.
 

Hang Doubles Up

Tommy Hang doubled up in 3 handed final table action.  Mohamed Ahmedin raised to 50,000 under the gun, Hang re-raised all in for 108,000 total.  Ahmedin called and turned over T 8 while Hang felted A9.  The board came A4345 sending Hang  to over 220,000 in chips.
 

Tu Huynh Eliminated 4th ($31,990)

Tu Huynh is all in with JJ against the AQ of Paul Lee.  The board comes Q92A3 and Lee wins the pot, eliminating Huynh from the tournament.
 

Peter Rho Eliminated 5th ($23,995)

Peter Rho moves all in for his last $58,000 and is called by Mohamed Ahmedin.  Rho shows A6 and Ahmedin turns over QJ.  The board comes QQ893 and Ahmedin makes trip queens to win the pot and eliminate Rho.
 

Brandon Cantu Eliminated 6th ($18,665)

Brandon Cantu is all in preflop with 88 against the KK of Mohamed Ahmedin.  The board comes Q9727 and Cantu has been eliminated in 6th place.
 

Men "The Master" Nguyen Eliminated 7th ($13,330)

Men Nguyen moves all in for his last $81,000 preflop and is called by Paul Lee in the big blind.  Nguyen turns over JJ but Lee shows KK.  The board comes 108686 and Nguyen has been eliminated from the tournament.
