Q&A with James

What keeps you interested in sports betting?

I love sports so I always want to know what’s happening with the biggest sports stars and the biggest teams in the world. Sports betting helps me stay up to date, and it adds an extra entertaining element.

What’s a sports bet you’ll never forget placing?

I remember betting on Cristiano Ronaldo to score a hat-trick in the Champions League at odds of about +1000, and it came through. I also bet on Bobbyjo to win the 1999 Grand National (via my Dad) — ‘99 was a very lucky year for me with sport, as my team Manchester United, won the treble.

What excites you about the future of sports betting?

It’s interesting that we can now use cryptocurrencies to bet on sports and withdraw winnings. This has added a new angle to betting and could help make it more safe and secure.
