San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino boasts one of California's busiest poker rooms. San Manuel is a neighborhood entertainment destination in the San Bernardino foothills, and the closest Indian casino south of Los Angeles. Due to overwhelming input from a recent customer survey, the poker section is now a smoke-free environment.
"I want to personally make sure that San Manuel's level of customer service, jackpots, and promotions continually improve, and that includes the air quality, " said Lee Hughes, casino director. "No matter what time of day or night, there are usually live games at both the high-stakes and the low-stakes tables, which is comparable to any cardroom, and it will now be a more comfortable place to play." Hughes possesses years of experience in Las Vegas casinos, and his influence on poker promotions has positioned San Manuel as a premier cardroom, as well as a favorite for locals.
San Manuel is known for its friendly and comfortable "hometown" atmosphere. "Our dealers are knowledgeable and helpful," stated Hughes. San Manuel offers the ever-popular blackjack, three-card poker, Let It Ride, pai gow, Texas hold'em, stud, and Omaha. It also offers regular promotions, including high hand of the hour and monthly poker and blackjack freeroll tournaments. Past promotions at San Manuel have included a $10,000-a-day giveaway, $15,000 freeroll poker and blackjack tournaments, $29,999 high roller freeroll blackjack tournaments, and the very popular Wacky Wednesdays and Blockbuster Tuesdays.
San Manuel considers the opinions of its customers to be a valuable asset to the casino. Along with the cardroom, the casino has a new nonsmoking bingo area that supplements the original 2,000-seat hall, and it is one of the largest in the country. There are designated areas for the convenience of smoking customers.
Celebrating its 16th anniversary this year, San Manuel Indian Bingo is continuing its dedication to customer service. Since San Manuel's opening in 1986, more than $1.5 billion has been paid out to customers. San Manuel understands the need to focus on customer comfort and enjoyment beyond the new nonsmoking sections. The casino recently opened an expanded parking lot that offers added convenience for customers. Valet parking is also available for customers at a nominal fee.
Hughes is proud of his experienced cardroom management team, all of whom have helped him create a great cardroom environment with a variety of games and promotions offering generous prize money. Because of their dedication to customer service, they intend to continue to improve in whatever capacity possible, while keeping prize money high and promotions exciting.
Hughes maintains that the cardroom at San Manuel is arguably one of the best-kept secrets in California. Now, perhaps, that secret is out of the bag.
