Goodbye to Paddy Power!

Goodbye to Paddy Powers and the “auld caravan, no more will ‘Big C’ be the traveling man”!

Well at least while bearing the mighty and excellent emblem of the PP crest that is! For due to some unfortunate things that are completely out of my control and more to the recent slow down in the economy over the last six months – they regrettably informed me a while back that they would not be bringing me back and were filing for a divorce. And though I am obviously some what saddened by this, I want you all to know that the Paddy Power brand and Ciaran ‘Big C’ O’Leary, part ways “on the very best of terms"!

I suppose what it probably comes down to is the difference between the brand and I – for them it needs to be about the business and the numbers side of things but for me it was always about “The Pride of the Jersey”!

And though granted it should be interesting to see who I will be with next, one thing for sure definitely is – Paddy Powers along with all the elite who play there will always hold a fond spot in the Big C’s hand.

Cheers to my dear friends Cormac, Paddy, E-man Eric, Orla, Noel, Paul, Ross, Mike, Evan, Margot, and also to Nic Whelan, Keith, and Carl, you were all an absolute pleasure to be around.

And to the hundreds of PP players who would routinely stop by the Big C section and see how I was doing – Thanks to Hajck, Paddyswarrior, dan1the man, Islander, KerryBob, JP, Marcus, Aspiring pro, Seanmurph11, Paul from SF, BigSlick, Diamondace, Kilkenny Jim, Johnprout, and the hundreds of others.
