Borgata

I am back on the East Coast for a few days. I get burned out in Vegas after a couple of weeks, and would prefer to spend Father’s Day with my father and family. While in the area I will play a little bit at, you guessed it, The Borgata. They have a summer series that gets a huge turn out, especially for competing with the WSOP. If you are in the area, I highly recommend it, here is the link to the schedule: http://www.theborgata.com/Main.cfm?Category_1=3000&Category_2=3500&Category_3=3510&SchedulePageID=B1141CAA-A7DC-5BFD-5AD971525B6E06FE

I know I keep saying Borgata, Borgata, Borgata, but like John Candy said in Splash, “if something works, you stick with it.” Of course he was talking about dropping stuff on the floor so you could look up a woman’s dress.

I will be heading back to the WSOP in about ten days and hope to arrive fresh and finish strong. I find taking some time off in the middle keeps me from getting burned out. Getting back to my regular days for a week or two really helps me, like today for instance after busting of the MSOP on Full Tilt, I went for a run with the dog and then dinner with Dad. I enjoy these days more than I can tell you. I am still on my exercise/nutrition/health kick and am happy to report that I’m still making progress and am about 4 weeks away from my goal. I noticed the Matusow/Forrest bet where Ted has to get down to 139lbs. At his height I believe that is way too low a weight for him to get to. He will have to starve himself and loose much of his lean body mass in addition to body fat. I can’t say it’s a healthy approach to weight loss.
