It is the 2nd Annual Cyprus Classic, being held at The Merit Crystal Cove Casino Resort. I was there last year and found it to be the best value tournament I played all year, next to the main event at the WSOP.

The venue is a beautiful all-inclusive resort on the Mediterranean Sea, with a great beach and spa. The event is sponsored by Full Tilt Poker, and the final table will be televised. There will be preliminary events, cash games and satellites running continuously throughout the event. The dates are August 17th-25th.

The resort is offering a main event package for $7,500 that includes the main event $5,400 buy-in, 10 all-inclusive nights in the resort (room, all meals & alcohol) and airport transfers.

I have worked out a group rate with the hotel and am able to offer a discounted package of $6,400 per person, which includes the $5,400 main event buy-in and the ten all inclusive nights, and you can even bring a guest! Here are some more details on the FTP Merit Cyprus Event.
The dates of this event are Aug 17th-25th 2010. Last Year this event was held in the same hotel and casino, Merit Crystal Cove Hotel and Casino In Kyrenia, North Cyprus, however, it was a WPT event. This year we have decided to do away with the WPT and thus the event will instead be The Second Annual Full Tilt Merit Cyprus Classic.

There will be several events including a $25,000 High Roller event on Aug 18th. This will be a 3 day event with 100k in starting chips and it will conclude the first day of the main thus all final table players will play day 2A of the main event.

The main event will have 2 starting days. You will start with 20K in chips for $5400 dollars and have an option for the first 6 levels of re-buying or at the end, adding on the 20K in chips for an additional $5000. Essentially this is a $10K event but we will allow those who want to take one chance to enter.
