Winning on Tilt, WSOP

I had a ton of fun in a small tournament last night on Full Tilt, it was a $69+5 no limit holdem deep stack and with a little over 400 runners, I somehow prevailed, collecting the $8,100 first prize. The heads up went on quite a long time, and my opponent was tough and very aggressive. The whole final table was really aggressive, which allowed me to be patient and trap. I have to say picking up some good hands in key spots was essential. I also dodged a bullet with 4 players left when my AQ was up against KK and I flopped an ace.

The FTOP’s start in a few days and they have added some of the draw games which should be fun.

Canadian Jonathan Duhamel won the WSOP main event, outlasting my good friend John Racener. I was sure either Racener or Grinder would win it, but it wasn’t meant to be. Maybe next year, I guess we are all thinking that.
