Taking the day off

Today I have a family function in NY City and will take the day off and be ready for the main event tomorrow. I played several different cash games yesterday and broke about even after 12 hours of play. I felt like I couldn't get anything going. It also seemed that most of the time I was playing against the usual players I play with in Vegas and at The Commerce. It was a very entertaining game with Lee Markholt and Layne Flack clowning around, Jamie Gold, Paul Taylor, Artie the Russian, Zack Stewart the actor, Amnon Filipi, and a couple of others. Here at The Borgata, they insist on a 10 handed game, which I don't love, beacause it slows the action and is more crowded at the table.

I am excited to start the 10k event tomorrow, and I am ready to get back to LA and Vegas. I have been away from home now for over a month and really miss my dog. I hope he still remembers me. Also the LA Poker Classic will be going back in LA and that is always great poker, both live action and the events.
