Second in the 2.5K, Time for a House and Carby Roy Winston | Published: Apr 14, '08 |
Well, I finished 2nd in the $2,500 Bellagio event and feel I played well but couldn't quite get it done at the end. It was really a tough final table and I'm happy to have taken 2nd place. It's an interesting phenomenon, when we were down to about 150 players remaining and I was struggling, 2nd place sounded fantastic, but when you are down to two players you are not satisfied with second. I will give some final table highlights in my next post. I may play a single table satellite or two today for the main event which starts on Saturday.
I am looking for a new house today and have to buy a car this week. I actually sold my car before I left for Australia and have lived without one for the past four months and now the time has come.
