On my way to Event 1

I am ready for event 1 to start. Yesterday I had a really good day today overall and the satellites were kind to me. Played a 1k 10 player which I won then played a little PLO which went reasonably well. Spent some time with Jack Effel, who went over some of the improvements from last year. Then off to the Corum reception which was really great. It took place in the penthouse at Caesars Palace. Great food and entertainment but hardly any poker players, which was kind of strange. They did have these Cleopatra girls whose outfits were painted on and pretty much made the party worth attending.

To those of you who have been stopping by my online games to say hello I would like to say thank you. I am sometimes slow with the chat, mostly when I am playing several tables and unable to multi-task adequately. My online play will diminish to almost none, so anyone out at the WSOP come by and say hello.

For the WSOP this year Full Tilt has been kind enough to provide me with a bunch of jerseys with the number 44 and "Oracle" on the back. The 44 signifies the winning hand at Borgata for me when I flopped a set of fours. Several of my friends and supporters will be wearing them and I would like to thank them here publically for their support. What's kind of funny is that I used to laugh at those who wore athletic jerseys to play poker and now here I am a proponent of it. I guess I've joined the ranks of the PR and attention hounds, at least for the WSOP. Now I'm off to the Rio for the first event.
