Today was an interesting day, I played the 1.5k pot limit Omaha 8 or better, and made it to the dinner break and got my money in good but lost. I then split my time watching Nick Binger at the final table of the mixed limit/no limit holdem and John Phan at the 2-7 triple draw. Nick played great and with 3 players left was chip leader. He then went card dead and it seemed every hand started to go bad. He eventually got it all in with 33 vs. KK and no 3 coming. John did better winning his 2nd bracelet of this years event. He struggled and fell to 3rd in chips before coming back strong and taking it down.

I then went and played a 1k single table satellite. I played extremely tight until there were six players left, having begun with 5k in chips I had chipped up to 7k. Then a player who was playing a loose and reckless and had pushed all in several times, did it again and I had 10 10 so I went all in. Next a player acting after me with approximately the same amount of chips as me moves in as well. He has 9 9 and the other guy A K, somehow my tens hold up and I have some chips to play with. We eventually get to heads up and I start to take a decent lead. I have almost 3/4th of the chips and I give him a deal to end it. Usually I am happy to play, but I'm not against a fair deal. It has turned out to be a profitable week, and I feel like I am playing well and starting to run better.

Tomorrow I start out at the Fox TV studios at 9am for an interview then over to play the 1k re-buy. I should be on air at about 9:30 am pacific time.
